Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and team members
• Support residents with meals and hydration, monitoring intake as needed
• Be a listening ear and a friendly presence, bringing warmth and dignity to every interaction

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• A heart for caring and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly to different resident needs
• Prior healthcare experience is a plus, but a passion to learn is what really matters

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with residents
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and vital sign measurement
• Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor under pressure
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Team player who also thrives working independently
