Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort
• Assist with meals and feeding, supporting residents' nutritional needs
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide reassurance and comfort to residents
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for residents
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver high-quality care
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with resident transfers throughout the shift
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant procedures and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in care
• Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
