Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration, monitoring intake as needed
• Take and record vital signs, reporting changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• State or federally issued photo ID for facility badging (required for registry personnel)
• Ability to complete facility onboarding and background check requirements
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome
• Reliable transportation to Pennsburg Manor in Pennsburg, PA

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene assistance
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident status
• Skill in using vital signs equipment and documenting care
• Empathy, patience, and teamwork mindset
