Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care, feeding, and mobility support to residents
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure resident goals and safety
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using lifts and aids
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with empathy
• Support residents during mealtimes including setup and feeding assistance
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Participate in care conferences and training of new staff

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Active BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience as a CNA
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely support residents
• Computer literacy with electronic medical records experience

• Ability to work in various units including LTC, rehab, dementia care, and vents
