Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist patients and families with education to support functional independence
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
• Support patients in developing and restoring daily living skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license in South Carolina or ability to obtain one
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Experience in occupational therapy settings is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
