Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising OT to help patients achieve their goals
- Document patient progress accurately and timely, ensuring continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and techniques for ongoing success
- Communicate effectively with the supervising OT regarding patient status and needs
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in the state of Iowa (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Occupational therapy principles and evidence-based practices
- Patient care and therapy intervention techniques
- Accurate and timely documentation
- Patient and family education
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Collaboration and teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting
