Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate occupational therapy services that help patients regain their independence
• Implement personalized therapy interventions following each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress with precision, ensuring accurate and timely records
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with supervising OTs and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, infection control, and compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one before start
• A genuine passion for patient care and helping others
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Prior experience in rehab or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required

Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of occupational therapy interventions and modalities
• Excellent documentation and time-management abilities
• Patient education and family counseling skills
• Clear, compassionate communication
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
