Location: Lancaster, Massachusetts

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care to help patients regain independence
- Accurately document patient progress and responses to treatment in a timely manner
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued recovery at home
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient status, progress, and any concerns
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide holistic, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
- Proficient in patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced rehab environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
