Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions tailored to each patient's Occupational Therapy plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to support continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education to help build functional independence and confidence
• Communicate patient status and response to treatment with the supervising OT
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with the rehab team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license in Iowa (or ability to obtain)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the care team
• New graduates are welcome to apply
