Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Travel
Location: Peabody, Kansas
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions following the occupational therapy plan of care to help patients regain independence
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to support optimal outcomes
- Assist with patient and family education so they feel confident and empowered in the recovery process
- Communicate patient status, observations, and updates to the supervising OT to ensure coordinated care
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to create a secure environment for patients and teammates
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active COTA license in the state of Kansas, or ability to obtain one
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills to thrive in a collaborative rehab setting
- A positive, compassionate attitude and a commitment to helping others
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

- Occupational therapy interventions and modalities
- Patient care, education, and communication
- Clinical documentation and compliance standards
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Teamwork and collaboration in a healthcare setting
