Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized therapy interventions following the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
• Communicate effectively with the supervising OT about patient status
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and compliance protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Occupational therapy principles and interventions
• Patient care and education
