Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions based on each patient's individualized OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to keep the care team informed
• Empower patients and families with education that supports independence and confidence
• Keep the supervising occupational therapist in the loop on patient status and changes
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to provide high-quality care

Qualifications

• You have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• You hold an active state COTA license, or are ready to obtain one
• You thrive in a team and genuinely enjoy working with patients
• You are committed to safety, documentation, and professional care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Occupational therapy interventions and adaptive techniques
• Patient education and family support strategies
• Clinical documentation and progress notes
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Infection control and safety protocols
