Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain clear, timely documentation to support excellent continuity of care
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate respectfully and empathetically with patients and their families
Collaborate with the care team to ensure each patient receives personalized attention

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required immunizations
Comfortable working a 12-hour day shift and standing for extended periods
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude; prior long-term care or hospital experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADLs
Vital signs assessment and monitoring
Accurate charting and documentation practices
Infection control and safety procedures
Effective teamwork and communication
Time management in a fast-paced care environment
