Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care for residents, ensuring quality outcomes and safety
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a collaborative team environment
• Oversee daily unit operations, staffing, and resource management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
• Provide hands-on nursing support as needed and resolve patient care issues promptly

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state required
• Previous leadership or unit management experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with on-call and weekend availability as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards, regulations, and best practices
• Skills in staff supervision, delegation, and conflict resolution
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
