Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support nurses with clinical tasks and maintain a clean, organized environment
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, making every day better

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Prior CNA experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Strong compassion and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Clear communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members
• Attention to detail for accurate charting and vital sign monitoring
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
