Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to keep smiles healthy and bright
• Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring clear and accurate imaging
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures for efficient patient care
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare treatment rooms
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures
• Proficiency in taking digital radiographs
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to use dental practice management software
