Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to identify patient needs
• Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
• Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and dietary modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to coordinate care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) with current state certification
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field preferred
• Experience in clinical nutrition or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
