Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform professional cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
• Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of dental anatomy and radiography
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient education skills
