Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams, procedures, and appliance adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules
• Support a positive and comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred but not required
• Experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with Denticon or other dental practice management software (a plus)
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail and a caring, patient-first approach
