Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Manage supplies and ensure the treatment room is fully stocked

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Certification (required)
• Experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Knowledge of Denticon software is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental assisting techniques
• Familiarity with orthodontic tools and equipment
• Understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Comfortable using Denticon or similar dental practice management software
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and team members
