Respiratory Therapist
Location: Silverdale, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver life-supporting ventilator management and bubble CPAP care for neonates 32 weeks and up
- Perform ABG draws, BiPAP setups, and nebulizer treatments that directly impact patient comfort
- Stand by for conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures to ensure patient safety
- Assist with intubations and collaborate with a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist team
- Provide compassionate respiratory care across mostly adult inpatients with occasional pediatric ED support
Qualifications
- Active Washington RT License required before start
- RRT or CRT credential accepted
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proven NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery skills including bubble CPAP
- Competent ventilator management on PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and advanced neonatal respiratory support
- ABG interpretation and rapid response collaboration
- BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen delivery
- Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby protocols
- Team-based care with lead therapist support every shift
