Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with confidence
- Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Collaborate with the care team on total joint replacement recovery and stroke/TIA management
- Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support seamless patient care
- Document assessments and interventions accurately using Cerner
- Support patients on BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments with skilled oversight
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Preferred background in CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement care
- Cerner experience strongly recommended due to limited orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Medical/Surgical nursing fundamentals
- Patient ratio comfort at 1:5
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to float between units and campuses
