Registered Nurse - MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool
Location: Prescott, Arizona
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a variety of patients
- Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aids, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
- Care for geriatric, orthopedic, and post-cardiac procedure patients with attention to detail and empathy
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
- Comfortable with dysrhythmia interpretation and passing the exam within two attempts
- Willingness to float between units and campuses as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
- Experience with titratable drips and post-procedural patient care
- Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
