Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a locked inpatient psychiatric unit
Assist with 15-minute rounds and be actively involved in patient care
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Utilize strong communication and de-escalation skills to manage patient behaviors

Qualifications

Current RN license
1 year of acute/inpatient experience
BLS certification required, CPI preferred
Experience working with adolescents and adults with various psychiatric diagnoses

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
Experience with electronic medical records
