Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room
• Act as a patient advocate and meet surgical standards of nursing practice
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy for all patient populations
• Collaborate with the healthcare team including RNs, LPNs, NAs, physicians, and ancillary disciplines
• Develop and implement total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and care plans
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure a commitment to the team concept

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and pain management
• Age-specific care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Sterile technique and surgical standards
• Team collaboration and strong communication
• Proficiency in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
