Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional preventive dental care to patients, including cleanings, assessments, and patient education
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience
- Take and develop dental x-rays while following safety and infection control protocols
- Document patient care accurately and support the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and treatment recommendations
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Willingness to adapt to the team's workflow and needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Ability to read and interpret dental x-rays
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
- Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
