Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Take and develop dental x-rays with care and precision, keeping young patients calm and comfortable.
• Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices in a friendly and age-appropriate manner.
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments to ensure a seamless experience for every visit.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Active CPR certification and dental x-ray licensure (as required by Wisconsin state regulations).
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient demeanor.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Empathy and patience when working with young patients and anxious parents.
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping.
