Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision
• Partner with the dentist to deliver top-notch patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and sterilize instruments
• Create a warm and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active New York State Dental Hygienist license required
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Prior experience in a dental office is a plus
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and preventive care
• Skill with dental X-ray equipment and digital imaging
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients
• Attention to detail in patient documentation
• Ability to collaborate smoothly with dentists and assistants
