Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during your shift
• Assess patient needs, monitor conditions, and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Respond to changes in patient condition quickly and escalate when necessary
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (California licensure required if practicing in-state)
• Relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; per-diem or acute care experience a plus
• BLS required; ACLS or specialty certifications preferred where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and adapt to different clinical teams
• Current immunizations and any required facility screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing assessment, medication administration, and documentation
• Comfortable with electronic health record systems and charting best practices
• Good communication skills to coordinate with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Basic understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
