Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status throughout the shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
Support patients with sensitivity to trauma-informed care principles relevant to MST

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Per-diem or clinical nursing experience; comfort with 12-hour day shifts
Experience or interest in working with MST populations preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Safe medication administration and IV/route knowledge
Trauma-informed care awareness and sensitivity
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
Competence with electronic medical records and documentation practices
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
