Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced L&D unit
- Circulate C-sections and support safe deliveries alongside skilled OB techs
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
- Float between L&D, postpartum, and NICU to support growing families across the care continuum
- Collaborate with in-house OB and neonatology teams available 24/7 for high-risk deliveries
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Fetal monitoring certification (AWHONN intermediate or advanced)
- 2-3 years of recent L&D experience with postpartum background
- Prior travel contract experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and decision-making
- Comfortable circulating C-sections and managing high-risk deliveries
- Cerner EMR and FetalLink documentation proficiency
- Excellent communication with diverse, Spanish-speaking patient populations
