Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Independently manage patient assignments while supporting teammates as backup
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate with precision
Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac telemetry to ensure the safest outcomes
Float as a helping hand to other units when census shifts, embracing every challenge
Stabilize and transfer neonates using vent and CPAP equipment when needed

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas with minimal supervision
Comfortable floating and adapting to changing patient volumes

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-aligned patient ratios and evidence-based practices
Central fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry interpretation
Titration of induction/augmentation and critical-care drips
Neonatal stabilization and transfer protocols
Block scheduling and collaborative teamwork
