Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to Mother-Baby unit and other departments as needed
Monitor fetal strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with 24/7 OB, Neonatology, and Anesthesia teams

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact license
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk laboring patients and antepartum care
Confident with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring
Ability to circulate and recover C-section patients
Cerner experience preferred

AWHONN staffing guidelines
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical drip titration
