Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications with precision and safety
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using GE equipment while collaborating with tele tech oversight
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining excellent patient ratios and care quality
Respond within 30 minutes when called back from on-call status to support critical patient needs
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver seamless, team-based care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submission

Knowledge & Skills

ICU nursing with telemetry monitoring expertise
Cardiac, insulin, and sedation drip titration
Trauma, stroke, cardiac, and respiratory patient care
GE monitor systems and strip interpretation
Floating comfortably between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg units
