Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
• Continuously monitor and interpret hemodynamic and ventilator parameters to guide timely interventions
• Administer medications, titrate infusions, and manage complex IV therapies safely
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
• Perform thorough assessments, document accurately in the chart, and communicate changes in patient status clearly
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Hawaii or compact state as applicable)
• ICU clinical experience preferred; comfort managing critically ill adults
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to unit staffing needs
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ventilator management and advanced airway care
• Proficient with hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive drips
• Excellent patient assessment and prioritization under pressure
• Competent documentation and electronic medical record workflow
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and bedside leadership
• Knowledge of infection control practices and ICU protocols
