Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the physical status of patients, identifying changes and responding promptly
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on medical and nursing diagnoses
• Coordinate with ancillary departments and healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly on clinical records and assessments
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients smoothly and efficiently
• Anticipate potential problems and adapt quickly to unit changes
• Follow established safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 4 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications from AHA or Red Cross
• NRP certification preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Emergency Department nursing and patient assessment
• Proficient in the nursing process and critical thinking
• Skilled in ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, and NRP procedures
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
