Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform point-of-care testing
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive treatment
• Float between various facilities within the zone, adapting quickly to new environments
• Interpret telemetry and recognize critical changes in patient status
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required
• Must hold and maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (AHA preferred)
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities within the 60-mile radius zone
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend/holiday
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable with EPIC charting and telemetry interpretation
