Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and other specialties
Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley insertion and central line dressing changes with confidence
Support patients through pre-transplant evaluations, esophagectomies, and ER overflow situations

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience helpful
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
Must demonstrate sterile field competency during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Non-titrating IV drips and CPAP/high-flow oxygen management
Strong sterile technique for Foley and central line procedures
Cerner electronic medical records documentation
Team collaboration with RT, Pharmacy, and SWAT IV support
