Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to a diverse patient population including cardiac stepdown, lung transplant candidates, MI, and ER overflow
• Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips monitors while maintaining patient safety on a 24-bed unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Float to other telemetry units as needed while maintaining high standards of care across T5, T6, and Neuro Tele units
• Complete required skills validation including SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Manage non-titrating drips and provide care for patients with CPAP and high-flow oxygen needs

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum Level 1 trauma experience required
• Strong EKG interpretation skills
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts
• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
• Clean-shaven for men to meet fit test requirements
• Reliable transportation required for travel teams
