Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed) — RN - Behavioral Health (orientation included)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to behavioral health patients
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions and crisis de-escalation when needed
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Participate in orientation and onboarding to learn facility-specific policies and best practices

Qualifications

Current RN license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
Experience or strong interest in behavioral health nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfort working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of behavioral health principles, therapeutic communication, and safety protocols
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Able to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
Clear documentation and time-management skills
Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
