Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
• Operate advanced equipment including linear accelerators, CT simulators, and HDR brachytherapy units.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and follow patient-specific treatment plans.
• Provide compassionate care to cancer patients of all ages, including those receiving external beam radiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and total body irradiation.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions to the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist.
• Possess current CPR certification at the Healthcare Professional level.
• Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist is preferred but not required; we welcome new graduates too!

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in operating radiation therapy equipment and technologies.
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and radiation safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
