Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Accurately and timely document all therapy services
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Delaware Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Direct patient care and mobility restoration
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Supervision of therapy assistants and technicians
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and safety standards
