Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-19-2026

End Date: 08-18-2026

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM one day a week, one weekend every third weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to acute inpatient patients
Treat patients with various diagnoses, including general medical/deconditioned, TKA, THA, spinal surgery, and CVA
Cover medical/surgical, ICU, and ER areas
Work effectively with Rehab Aides and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

Current CA PT license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 1 year of acute inpatient PT experience

Education

Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy techniques and modalities
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
