Physical Therapist Assistant - Travel
Location: Portland, Oregon
Start Date: 08-05-2026
End Date: 11-04-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises as outlined in the PT plan of care
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and facility standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and treatment plan implementation
- Patient care and patient education expertise
- Documentation and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
