Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises as outlined in the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and facility standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and treatment plan implementation
• Patient care and patient education expertise
• Documentation and compliance best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
