Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Utilize evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care
- Provide skilled, medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders
- Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices as part of the rehabilitation plan
- Assess patient progress and collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on physical disorders and recovery plans
- Document all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic medical record accurately
- Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and facility trainings
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
- 1+ years of PTA experience required
- Long-term care or rehab experience required
- New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience
- Skills checklist within 1 year required
