Location: Claremont, New Hampshire

Start Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM (evening/night), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Observe residents continuously, monitoring changes in mental and physical well-being, and report pertinent findings to supervisors and physicians
  • Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders with precision, documenting MARs and TARs electronically
  • Administer medications, treatments, oxygen, and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings per policy, and manage wound care including wound vacs
  • Supervise and assign LNAs, ensuring nursing care aligns with scope of practice and licensing requirements
  • Accompany physicians on rounds, facilitate communication during 60-day reviews, and coordinate resident appointments
  • Complete admissions, discharges, transfers, 24-hour reports, and maintain infection control and safety on the unit
  • Communicate with families, handle incoming calls, and support orientation and education of new nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Active New Hampshire RN license required
  • IV certification required, or willingness to obtain during onboarding
  • 3+ years of current nursing experience within the last 6 months
  • Willingness to float to units where experienced
  • COVID vaccination required, declinations or exemptions not accepted
  • Previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
  • 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years and a skills checklist within the last year
