Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Hours per Week: 60
Bill Rate: $26.01+ per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on patients of all ages, from neonate to geriatric
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images in the Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and at the bedside
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure proper positioning for optimal views of specified anatomy
- Adjust equipment controls and set exposure factors based on established guidelines and knowledge of each procedure
- Demonstrate effective radiation safety practices and assist the Radiologist as needed
- Interact with various computer programs and systems daily, and perform other duties as assigned by the Radiology Supervisor or Director of Radiology
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or graduate student eligible for exam - highly preferred
- Kansas License for Radiology Technology required
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or must successfully complete within the first 90 days of employment
Education
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and diagnostic radiographic procedures
- Skilled in patient positioning and radiation safety
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- ARRT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) skills
