Location: Salina, Kansas

Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Full Time - Evening Shift, primarily 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Weekend and on-call requirements discussed at interview.
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $30.11+ per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality CT images of designated anatomical areas for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Operate CT equipment effectively in a variety of settings, including the Radiology and Emergency Departments.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Apply appropriate imaging protocols to obtain optimal images of specified anatomy.
- Demonstrate effective radiation safety practices at all times, assisting radiologists as needed.
- Utilize computer systems and imaging software daily to document and manage patient information.
- Deliver superior customer service, creating a positive experience for every patient and team member.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (required).
- Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist (required).
- ARRT certification (required).
- CT certification or certification eligibility (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or completion within first 90 days of employment (highly preferred).
- At least one year of hospital radiology experience is strongly preferred.
- Kansas state licensure, or the ability to obtain it, is required.
Education
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and CT imaging protocols.
- Skilled in operating CT equipment and producing diagnostic-quality images.
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
- Proficient with computer systems, imaging software, and electronic documentation.
- Understanding of human anatomy and the ability to adapt imaging techniques to various patient populations.
