Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate occupational therapy services that help patients regain independence and improve their daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed OT.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and activities tailored to each patient's individualized care plan.
  • Document patient progress with accuracy and timeliness to support continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
  • Collaborate closely with the supervising Occupational Therapist to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

  • You are a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • You hold an active COTA license in the state (or can obtain one before starting).
  • You've got strong teamwork skills and a genuine passion for patient care.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and modalities
  • Patient care and documentation skills
  • Patient education and communication abilities
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Infection control and safety protocols
  • Compliance with state/federal regulations
