Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs with a keen eye
• Partner with nurses, aides, and providers to create resident-centered care plans
• Document accurately and thoroughly so the whole team stays in sync
• Be a reassuring presence for residents and their families during evening hours
• Speak up for residents and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption
• Ability to work the scheduled 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM shift and adapt to resident needs

• Solid clinical skills in assessments, medication administration, and wound care
• Clear communication and a knack for putting residents at ease
• Teamwork and collaboration across the care continuum
• Strong documentation and EHR proficiency
• Compassion, patience, and a sense of humor
